About Pete
A Neighbor. A Veteran. A Teacher. A Friend You Can Trust.
Hello...
I'm Pete Miller.
Like many families, my wife Sharon and I believed we were being careful.
Then we became victims of a sophisticated scam that changed our lives.
We lost a significant amount of money, but we refused to let that experience define us.
Instead, we chose to let it guide us.
That's why I created Scam-Proof Senior.
My mission is simple:
To help older adults stay safe, confident, and independent online through practical lessons written in plain English.
I'm not a computer engineer.
I'm not a technology company.
I'm your neighbor.
I'm a veteran.
I'm a husband, a father, and a grandfather.
And if sharing what I've learned helps one family avoid the heartbreak we experienced...
Then something good has come from our journey.
Welcome.
I'm honored you're here.
Out in the Community
Real conversations with real people around Sun City.
“I spend time with seniors in libraries, community centers, churches, and local groups because I believe trust is built through real conversations.”
“Every lesson I teach is another opportunity to help one more family protect what matters most.”
Every family deserves honest, practical guidance they can trust.
That's why every lesson, article, and resource we create is built on these promises:
✔ We teach before we sell.
✔ We speak in plain English.
✔ We respect every question.
✔ We never use fear to persuade.
✔ We help families protect one another.
✔ We want every visitor to leave more confident than when they arrived.
Knowledge shared today becomes protection for tomorrow.
One Page. One Lesson. One Family at a Time.
